The Fabrication Process
Magma Build Studios collaborated with partners Direct Dimensions and Paradise Labs to ensure that every detail of the sculpture was meticulously crafted. The project began with the creation of a small-scale version, allowing the team to refine the design and test materials before moving on to the full-size sculpture. The final piece, standing an impressive 7 feet tall, 8 feet wide, and 6 feet deep, was crafted from a combination of stainless steel, resin, 3D-printed elements, and nickel-plated accents.
Through a rigorous technical design process, Magma Build Studios ensured that the sculpture maintained the integrity of the artists’ vision while being structurally sound and visually compelling. This collaborative effort involved leveraging cutting-edge 3D scanning and printing technologies to achieve a seamless blend of materials and textures.
